Share a UPI payment link
Send a short payment link to the customer. They open it on their phone, see your UPI QR / details, and pay you directly.
Before you start
- Add your UPI ID in Settings → Configuration.
- Make the bill first (from Billing or Online Orders → Make bill).
- Enter the customer’s name and phone number on the bill — needed to create and share the link.
- Keep their phone ready for WhatsApp / SMS.
When to use
- Customer is not at the shop (home delivery / COD style, pay on phone).
- Online order — bill made, money still pending.
- You want to remind someone about a pending bill.
Steps (from Billing)
- Add products and go to checkout.
- Choose to share payment link (or UPI share).
- Check amount and customer.
- Send via WhatsApp, SMS, or Copy link.
- When money comes in your UPI app, mark the bill as paid / Payment received.
You can also show the same QR on a counter phone — see Counter payment QR.
Steps (from Online Orders)
- Open the order that has a bill.
- Tap Share link (or create link if first time).
- Send to the customer.
- The customer also sees Pay with UPI on their order page in your online shop (while the link is still valid).
- When paid, tap Payment received.
- Then you can mark Delivered or Customer picked up.
Important
- Money goes to your UPI — LocalShopWala does not take a cut and does not auto-confirm bank credit.
- Always check your PhonePe / GPay / bank app, then mark received in the app.
- Pending links also show under Pending payments (Billing).
- If the customer does not see Pay with UPI on their order, ask them to open the order again. Share a new link if the old one expired.
