Barcodes

Use barcodes when your shop uses barcode-based product search or scanning.

Before you start

1. Open the correct shop.
2. Make sure the product already exists in Inventory.
3. Keep the product barcode ready if your app setup asks for it.

Steps

1. Open Inventory.
2. Open the product you want to update.
3. Use the barcode field or scan option if it is shown.
4. Check that the barcode belongs to the correct product.
5. Save and test it from Billing search or scanner where available.

What happens next?

• Staff can find the product faster during billing when barcode search is available.
• Keep product names correct as a backup for manual search.
