Sizes, colors & options

Some products are not one simple item. Example: a T-shirt in S / M / L, or paint in Red / Blue.

In LocalShopWala this is called Has sizes or colors (options).

Simple meaning

Without options	With options
One name, one price, one stock	One product name, many choices
Example: Atta 1 kg	Example: T-shirt → Size S, M, L

Each choice has its own sale price and stock. Billing and online orders use those numbers.

When to use this

Use options when:

• customers pick a size, color, or storage
• each choice has different stock
• prices may differ by choice

Use Single product when one price and one stock is enough.

Set up options (new product)

1. Open Inventory → Add Product.
2. Enter the product name and category.
3. In pricing, choose Has sizes or colors.
4. Add a choice type — for example Size or Color.
5. Add values — for example S, M, L or Red, Blue.
6. For color, you can turn on color dots for the online shop.
7. Tap Add to table so all combinations show in the Variants table.
8. Set stock, sale price, cost, and MRP on each row.
9. Save the product.

Change price or stock (from the table)

You do not need to open Change options to fix one row.

1. Open the product from Inventory.
2. Go to the Variants table (the list of combinations).
3. Edit In stock, Sale, Cost, or MRP on that row.
4. Save the product.

Remove one combination (from the table)

If you no longer sell one mix (example: Size M / Red):

1. Open the Variants table.
2. Tap the delete icon on that row.
3. Confirm.
4. Save the product.

That combination is removed from the list. Size and color setup stay the same. You do not need to change the option names to delete one row.

Excel tip

In Bulk Import, rows with the same Product group can become one product with options (Size, Color, Option 3 columns). See Bulk Import.

What happens next?

• In Billing, pick the product, then pick the size/color.
• On the online shop, customers choose the option before adding to cart.
