Bulk Import

Add many products together with an Excel or CSV file — up to 100 products and about 1.5 MB per file.

Simple meaning

Fill a table once → upload → review → save.

Good rows save. Bad rows are skipped so you can fix them later.

Before you start

1. Open the correct shop.
2. Download the sample file from the app and keep the same column headers.
3. Keep name, sale price, unit, category, and stock ready.

Steps

1. Open Inventory.
2. Choose Bulk Import.
3. Download the sample if needed, then fill your rows.
4. Upload the Excel or CSV file.
5. Review the list. Fix any row with an error.
6. Save the import.

Columns (common)

Name, Sale price, Cost, Unit, Category, Stock, Barcode, Brand, Description.

For sizes/colors, the sample also has:

• Product group — same group name = one product with options
• Size, Color, Option 3 — choice values

If some products fail

Good rows still save.

Common fixes:

• Fill required fields (name, price, unit, category).
• Keep numbers as numbers (not text with ₹).
• Do not rename column headers from the sample.
• Stay under 100 rows and 1.5 MB.

Plan limit

If the file would push you over your plan’s product limit, some or all rows may fail and you may see an upgrade popup.

Open View plans, or remove old products and try again.

What happens next?

Saved products appear in Inventory and can be used in Billing and your online shop.
