Edit a product

Edit a product when price, name, unit, GST %, image, or stock details need correction.

Before you start

1. Open the correct shop.
2. Keep updated product details ready.
3. Check current stock before changing quantity.

Steps

1. Open Inventory.
2. Search and open the product.
3. Tap Edit if available.
4. Update the required details.
5. Save and check the product in Billing before using it for customers.

Set or change GST %

When GST tax invoices is on:

1. Open the product Edit screen.
2. Go to Price & stock.
3. Find GST % and choose the correct rate.
4. Save the product.

Same rate for all products (in Configuration):

• Use Shop default to follow the shop rate, or pick 0% / 5% / 12% / 18% / 28% for this item only.

Different rate on each product:

• Set GST on each product. Use 0% for items with no GST.

You can turn on the GST % column in the inventory table (Columns menu) to see rates at a glance.

What happens next?

• New bills use the updated product details and GST %.
• Old bills in Billing History keep the rate from when the sale was made.
• Online Store may show updated product details based on catalog settings.
